Katam – natural brown with a cool undertone
Katam dyes hair ashy to cool brown tones and is the ideal complement to henna for natural, less reddish color results. It is particularly suitable for people who prefer a neutral to cool brown.
In combination with henna, soft to intense brown tones are created:
From reddish chestnut brown to dark chocolate brown – depending on the mixing ratio. Katam is also a popular alternative to indigo, especially for sensitive scalps or when indigo doesn't provide sufficient pigmentation.
Our katam powder comes from Yemen, where it is traditionally cultivated . It is purely plant-based, gentle on the hair, and contains no chemical additives.
Unfortunately, organic certification is not currently available to us in Yemen, but we test every shipment in the laboratory for pesticide residues, heavy metals and microbiology, and can therefore always guarantee pure and the highest quality.
